In what could very well turn out to be a Shaqtin' a Fool moment, Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo committed a rather comical turnover during Miami's Monday night matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Adebayo threw an errant pass to a teammate who was heading to the scorer's table prior to checking in which resulted in an unforced turnover from the All-Star big.

Here's a look at the play in question courtesy of House of Highlights on Twitter:

To be fair to Adebayo, this is not totally on him. He was so focused on the play that when he saw what appeared to be a wide-open teammate at the corner of his eye, he did not hesitate to make the pass.

Gabe Vincent, who was the supposed recipient of the errant pass, had already removed his warmer as he headed to the scorer's table, which is likely what caused the confusion on Adebayo's end. It appears that Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra gave the second-year point guard a bit of a talking to following the play. Adebayo, who himself is coming off a huge 41-point explosion on Saturday, seemed upset at what had just transpired, and he appeared to have been motioning towards Vincent's direction.

Miami came into Monday's matchup against the mighty Nets in desperate need of a win following back-to-back losses in their previous two games.
