After the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Miami Heat 123-118, two legends and future Hall of Famers in Dwyane Wade and Vince Carter exchanged their jerseys.

This just shows the amount respect these two have for each other. Carter and Wade have had historical careers and with this possibly being their only season left, it only seems right.

Let's put these two careers in perspective and check on the milestones each of these two had.

Dwyane Wade is a three-time NBA champion and also a Finals MVP winner. The Heat star is also a 12-time All-Star. He is a two-time All-NBA First Team member and was also voted three times into the All-NBA second and third team. He is also a three-time NBA All-Defensive Second Team member. He also made the NBA All-Rookie team in 2003 and was a scoring champion.

For his career, Wade is averaging 22.4 points, 5.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. He is also shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 29 percent from three-point range.

On the other hand, Vince Carter is an eight-time NBA All-Star while also being a former All-NBA second and third team member. He was a former NBA rookie of the year, NBA Slam Dunk champion, and NBA Teammate of the Year. For his career, Carter is averaging 17.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, one steal, and 0.6 blocks per game. He is also shooting 43.7 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from three point range.

These two have had great careers and they certainly know how to show the respect they have for one another. We always see this after NFL games and it's just as cool to see this happening in the NBA as well.
