For the Miami Heat, a game rarely goes by without a hugely impressive dunking exhibition by Slam Dunk Contest champion Derrick Jones Jr. On Monday night, Jones produced a sterling two-handed jam against the Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks:

After coming into the league as an extremely raw prospect with high-flying athleticism, the Heat have turned Jones Jr. into a fairly appealing young player with excellent defensive chops. The 22-year-old is approaching career-highs in minutes played. He is also taking the most three-pointers of his career on a career-high true shooting percentage of 60.5 percent – which is above league average.

While Jones Jr.’s Dunk Contest victory might have been one that was marred by controversy, including a botched judging call that was meant to lead to a sudden death dunk-off, but there can be no denying that Jones Jr. got all of this one against the Bucks.
