Like father, like son — as the adage goes. Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade's son, Zaire, easily rose up for a jumper over New York Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr.

As posted by HoopsDiamonds, below is the clip of the younger Wade casually pulling up for a lefty jumper over Hardaway Jr. who stands at 6-foot-5.

Zaire, 16 years old, played in a Miami Pro League game together with some NBA players. His teammates included Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons and Hassan Whiteside of the Heat. From the highlight, he seems to have a natural scoring mentality just like his dad.

But Zaire is not keen on relying solely on the basketball talent he inherited from his superstar father. If, at all, it only serves to motivate him. As reported by Jason Jordan of USA Today High School Sports, Zaire said before:

“Just knowing that people are going to come after me because of who my dad is. That makes me want to work harder to be ready for that. I’ve dealt with it my whole life so it’s nothing new, but that’s definitely what motivates me the most.”

For the elder Wade, he simply wants his son to enjoy the game. The business side of it will come later. Per Adi Joseph of USA Today, Wade said before:

“He’s a kid. My son is not a kid like LeBron James was at 16. He’s not that. His body has not developed to that level. I’m actually glad because it allows him to develop later. He’s just a kid, and I want him to enjoy the game first before it becomes a business. It’s a fine line between them.”
