Finally, the documentary the entire basketball world is looking forward to will finally hit our screens on Sunday night. The Last Dance documents the Chicago Bulls' 1997-98 season, featuring Michael Jordan, which was their final run towards their sixth NBA championship of the decade.

ESPN will release Episodes 1 and 2 of the 10-part documentary, which details the Chicago dynasty' last championship along with the rest of their title runs through the 1990's and Michael Jordan's entire career, on April 19th, 9PM Eastern Time. Fans can stream the episodes on ESPN.com and the ESPN app. Likewise, some streaming services such as Youtube, Hulu, and Sling have also made the documentary available on their respective sites.

ESPN will release two episodes every Sunday at 9PM Eastern Time up until May 17th. Next week, April 26th, will feature Episodes 3 and 4. Episodes 5 and 6 are on May 3rd, while Episodes 7 and 8 will be released on May 10th. ESPN will air the final two episodes on May 17th.

Of course, basketball is a global phenomenon and fans around the globe wish to consume this special content as well. Luckily for international fans, they can watch the show on Netflix, which will release the episodes five hours after the broadcast schedules.

ESPN originally scheduled to release the documentary around the time of the NBA Finals in June. However, due to the lack of basketball content brought about by the sudden hiatus of the 2019-20 season, NBA fans clamored for the early release of this once in a lifetime documentary. ESPN listened to the fans' plea, and bumped up the release to April.

We have all been devoid of basketball content for over a month now and this special show will surely give us something to look forward to for at least the next five weeks. Basically, get excited for some Michael Jordan related glory in The Last Dance documentary.
