Despite being in the process of seeking options to fix his hip injury, there was no one more anxious to celebrate the Boston Celtics‘ Game 3 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers than Isaiah Thomas, who got on a FaceTime call with his teammates after Sunday night's critical road win.

Avery Bradley‘s last-second, rim-rattling three-point dagger was every bit the reason to celebrate the Celtics' collective effort that earned them a 111-108 victory.

“He was very stoked,’ forward Jae Crowder said smiling, according to Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe. ‘He was happy and smiling and yelling. You know him, he was yelling and (stuff) on the phone.”

The joy didn't stop there, as his replacement, Marcus Smart (27 points), made sure to let him know he was very much a part of the win, even if it was on spirit.

“He was ecstatic. I told him I channeled my inner I.T. and he kind of laughed a little bit,” Smart told ESPN's Chris Forsberg. “It felt good. It felt good to see him smile. He's been down with everything he's been going through, and then for him not to be here, I know that hurts him even more. So to see him happy and smiling, it was a good feeling for us.”

Thomas was ruled out for the rest of the playoffs on Saturday after aggravating a hip injury in the first half of Friday's Game 2 loss at the TD Garden.

The 5-foot-9 dynamo pleaded with team doctors to let him return to the court and ultimately became emotional after realizing his season might come to a halt because of the severity of his injury.
