According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Utah Jazz have waived Swedish forward, Jonas Jerebko. The 6-foot-10 stretch four only spent one season in Utah.

The Swedish big man was a role player with the Jazz who could come in and stretch the defense with his ability to knock down jumpers. Jerebko shot better than 41 percent from three-point range while a member of the Jazz.

Jerebko only played about 15 minutes per game with Utah, but he was phased out of the rotation come playoff time. He averaged 5.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game during the regular season. But those numbers dropped to 1.9 points, 1.6 rebounds, and only 7.9 minutes per game during the playoffs.

The 31-year-old was drafted in 2009 by the Detroit Pistons where he spent the first five seasons of his NBA career. After being traded to the Celtics during the 2014-15 season, Jerebko spent two-plus seasons in Boston before signing with the Jazz last offseason.

Jonas Jerebko has bounced around the league during his career, but he's still a valuable guy to have come off the bench. Swede had his best season during his rookie year with the Pistons. He was named to an NBA All-Rookie team, but suffered an Achilles injury that kept him out of the entire 2010-11 season.

Despite his injury woes, he's been able to hang around the league and find a home each season.
