With the Utah Jazz yet to unveil its team uniform for the upcoming season, Jazz guard Ricky Rubio has piqued the curiosity of hundreds of fans on Twitter with his latest tweet. Unfortunately, the 27-year-old was unable to offer a sneak peek of the unreleased jerseys due to PR restrictions.

As the team's starting point guard, Rubio does have insider privileges. However, as it turns out, this does not go beyond a for-your-eyes-only peep at the new Jazz unis:

Rubio's use of emojis to describe the jersey leaves a significant margin for interpretation. While some might say Rubio was implying that they looked crazy (in a relatively bad way), our best guess is that he considers them to be absolutely on fire. There has been speculation that the new jerseys will be purple.

Whatever the case may be, Rubio was successful in creating more buzz for the soon-to-launch money-maker. This only proves that when he decides to retire from professional basketball, he may be looking at a promising career in marketing and promotions ahead of him.

Rubio had a very successful debut season with the Jazz last year. While his assists numbers dipped to 5.3 per contest (from 8.5 assists per game in six seasons with the Minnesota Timerwolves), the former first overall pick set career-high averages for scoring (13.1), 3-pointers (1.2), and field goal percentage (41.8%). More importantly, he helped the Jazz to a 48-win season and a trip to the second round of the [layoffs.

Rubio is entering the final year of his contract and is set to become an unrestricted free agent next season. To say that this is going to be a very important year for him would be an understatement.
