The New York Jets decided to sign Frank Gore to a one-year deal last week to add some depth to their backfield next season. While we already knew the length of the deal, the details of Gore's contract have been revealed by ESPN's Rich Cimini.

Altogether, Gore is slated to make $1.05 million in his one-year contract with the Jets in 2020. Of the $1.05 million in salary, $200,000 of it is guaranteed. In addition, he will carry a $750,000 cap hit next season.

On Thursday, Gore will be turning 37 years old, but he continues to defy the laws of being a running back. After signing with New York, the veteran running back is entering his 16th season in the NFL.

Just a season ago, Gore spent a year with the Buffalo Bills, sharing touches with rookie Devin Singletary. Despite divvying the workload with Singletary, Gore still managed to finish with 599 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Since the 2015 season, the Miami product has spent time with four different teams now after signing with the Jets. Furthermore, his past three teams have all resided in the AFC East, with him playing for the Miami Dolphins and Bills before New York.

In all likeliness, Gore was brought in to be a leader in New York's locker room and see a minimal role behind Le'Veon Bell. Regardless of how much he plays, seeing Gore play until he's nearly 40 years old is extremely impressive.

With Gore's contract being unveiled, he will now have over $63 million in career earnings. His career earnings at the running back position should provide motivation for other running backs in the NFL.
