John Daly is still in a celebratory mood after he and his son, John Daly II, defeated the father-and-son duo of Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods at the recently finished 2021 PNC Championship. With that victory comes the attention from the media that has since been all over Daly.

In a recent appearance on the Full Send Podcast, Daly even touched on the subject of his rumored beef with Tiger Woods that had its roots from the 2019 PGA Championship.

For context, during that year's edition of the PGA Championship, Daly was allowed to transport himself using a cart, which Woods would later sarcastically comment on, saying that he didn't need such a vehicle when he had to drag himself from hole to hole back at the 2008 U.S. Open when he was basically playing on one leg.

But Daly did not take Woods' words personally (h/t brobible):

“He didn’t know the facts because the media, ‘the media’ (sarcastic gesture) didn’t tell him I had diabetes and I had a bad two knees and my hips out and all this stuff. He apologized to me at dinner the other night. I mean, he’s fine. I love Tiger,” Daly explained.

John Daly is indeed a classy guy. No wonder people love the original golf bro.
