The Olympic Games in Rio is now in full swing and athletes from all over the world have been showcasing their talents in the world stage. On Tuesday night, the swimmers led by five-time Olympian Michael Phelps took centerstage and competed for the 200m freestyle finals. This was one of the most anticipated events in this year's Olympics as Phelps continued his quest to achieve a record 20 gold medals.

A lot of spectators, including other athletes, watched it live and members of the USA Men's Basketball team were at the venue to see history unfold. Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan and Klay Thompson were among the thousands who cheered on for the American swimmer. Here are some pictures from NBC Sports' official Twitter account:

Durant was also spotted having a good time hanging out with another US swimmer, Amanda Weir. He can be seen here posing for a selfie with her:

In a video posted by Anthony Slater of The Mercury News after Phelps' performance, the NBA superstars showed that they are also normal fans who appreciate true greatness. Their reactions were priceless.

Durant, as well as DeMarcus Cousins, took to social media after the event via their Instagram accounts to honor the most decorated Olympian of all-time by posting their pictures with him and admittedly knowing they were in the presence of the greatest swimmer of all-time.
