To say that Bay Area fans are excited for superstar Kevin Durant to join the Golden State Warriors would be an understatement. The premier free agent this offseason, Durant's decision to leave the Thunder for the two-time defending Western Conference champs has created a high-demand for blue and gold number thirty-five jerseys.
In fact, Durant's new Warriors jersey has been such an incredibly hot item that it's the highest selling jersey in a majority states across the country, via Darren Rovell:
Kevin Durant's Warriors jersey is the best selling NBA jersey in 30 states in July based on sales on @fanatics pic.twitter.com/sZl9Cseg7L

Surprisingly, one of those 30 states is Oklahoma.
Rovell also reports that, in comparison to the first week of jersey sales for LeBron James when he returned to the Cavaliers, Durant is selling more jerseys:
KD sold more jerseys in 1st week with Warriors (July 7-14) than LeBron sold the 1st week he went back to the Cavs in 2014, says @fanatics

As multiple people point out in response to Rovell's tweet, this may be due to the fact that many Cleveland fans already had LeBron jerseys from his first stint with the team.
Either way, there's no denying how popular KD's Warriors jersey already is. His Thunder uniform was the eighth most purchased last season, with new teammate Stephen Curry at the top of the list.
Something tells us Durant's jersey will be closer to the number spot next season.
