New York Knicks guard Allonzo Trier is joining Klutch Sports Group.

Other notable players with Klutch Sports Group are John Wall, Malik Beasley, Eric Bledsoe, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Trier's Knicks teammate Mitchell Robinson.

Trier is in his second season with the Knicks. He's appeared in 20 games this season and is averaging 6.0 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists while shooting 43.5 percent from the field, 32.6 percent from beyond the arc and 79.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The Knicks are 17-38 on the season. They are in 13th place in the Eastern Conference standings and won't make the playoffs this season.

New York is expected to hire former NBA agent Leon Rose as its new president of basketball operations soon. Knicks owner James Dolan began exploring the front-office model of hiring a player agent shortly after firing Steve Mills. The Golden State Warriors under Bob Myers and the Los Angeles Lakers under Rob Pelinka have had success with the former agent model.

The Knicks’ roster is pretty flawed right now, so Rose’s main priority moving forward is to hire the right coach to lead the franchise. He reportedly will have Jeff Van Gundy and Tom Thibodeau on his coaching search list.
