Shortly after it was revealed that the Phoenix Suns are fielding calls for veteran guard Eric Bledsoe, the New York Knicks emerged as one of the possible landing spots.

However, it appears things could hit a snag as Ian Begley of ESPN is reporting that the Knicks don't appear to be willing to part ways with either rookie Frank Ntilikina or second-year big man Willy Hernangomez.

New York has shifted to a full rebuild this season centered around its young core group that includes both Ntilikina and Hernangomez. Although both have had limited playing time through the first week of the season each should take up more prominent roles as the season wears on.

Ntilikina has been hampered over the last few days due to a sprained left ankle that he suffered during Friday's practice and has only made one appearance. Meanwhile, Hernangomez has struggled to get consistent playing time with just four minutes played in one game.

This could potentially put them out of the picture to acquire Bledsoe, who has established himself as one of the better guards in the league. He has increasingly grown disgruntled in Phoenix over the last year, which all came to a head after he tweeted out a subtle message that he wanted to be moved by the team.
