The New York Knicks are stacked with a wide array of backcourt talents and coach Tom Thibodeau is not shying away from letting the NBA know about it.

In less than two minutes of action during the Knicks’ last preseason game, rookie shooting guard Quentin Grimes impressively hit a pair of three-pointers, hinting at what Tom Thibodeau will get from him this season.

Aside from Grimes, newcomer point guard Miles McBride also put on a notable performance for the Knicks.

Commenting on the pair’s showing, Thibodeau raved about Grimes and McBride’s aggressiveness before concluding that both of them will be “good players.”

“They are going to be good players,” Thibodeau said via Marc Berman of The New York Post. “It started in the Summer League, fall workout and then training camp. When it comes to get in there, get the job done. That’s what I love about both guys.”

“Quentin went in, Miles went in right at the end of the game,” he continued. “Both of them played really well.”

Grimes and McBride are expected to play less in their rookie season given the Knicks’ powerhouse backcourt. However, the former assures that it’s not gonna be a problem at all.

“You have to be ready to come in and knock down shots,’’ Grimes said. “It’s definitely an adjustment — my first time ever coming off the bench or even sitting the first 46 minutes. You got to be locked in and watching the whole game. You can’t worry about if your number’s not called.’’
