Shaquille O'Neal will  be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday in Springfield, Massachusetts.

This Hall of Fame class boasts greats such as Allen Iverson, Michigan State coach Tom Izzo and former Houston Rockets center Yao Ming.

O'Neal was recently asked if he had been contacted by former teammate Kobe Bryant on his induction, to which he replied he had not.

He played alongside Bryant from 1996 to 2004, and won three consecutive championships in the process for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The stories of their rocky relationship, and success through their time together in the NBA are well chronicled.

Both players claim they have no issues with each other at this stage of their lives, but are never seen together anywhere.

Bryant finally posted a message of congratulations to O'Neal on his Instagram page  calling him his big brother, the most dominant big man of all time, and that his induction is beyond deserved.

There will be no drama coming from this story because Bryant just cooled off any speculation of ongoing issues.
