When not getting caught between the line of fire from all the upper-management turmoil surrounding the New York Knicks, Kristaps Porzingis makes it a point to never forget his roots and give a little something back to his home country of Latvia.

It turns out that Porzingis' latest commercial for local Latvian bank Banka Citadele was not only a sight to behold for his fellow countrymen, but also for everybody else on the internet to lose their minds over.

There's a lot going on in this video, which mostly involves an endlessly-extending arm that'll make the guys behind Stretch Armstrong proud. And as with ads that feature celebrities who have no direct relation to the product being endorsed, the 21-year-old forward appears for a mere three seconds in the commercial, with the dead-eyed Porzingis having to bear the elastic limb travel up and inside his jersey to rub his head.

What does this all mean? Does the outstretched hand symbolize the bank wanting to give its customers wide access to the finer things in life through financial security? Could it be a metaphor for Porzingis' desire to start getting in touch with other teams and finally escape the dysfunctional Knicks? And what's with the deal with slapping a cube of Jell-O?

Regardless of how viewers will interpret this commercial, the uniqueness of its concept deserves some applause. If Porzingis was willing to do a something like this knowing what he was getting into, then he should definitely consider doing a few of these sort of jobs in Japan. Now that country knows how weird commercials should be done.
