Andre Drummond was a highly-touted midseason addition on the Los Angeles Lakers roster. The 2-time All-Star was expected to bring even more high-level talent on a roster already featuring LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

However, Drummond's stint on the Lakers didn't exactly go according to plan. The big man's on-court production was decent, but nothing spectacular and his fit with Anthony Davis in the frontcourt was questionable at best, and horrendous at worst.

But it looks like Andre has his sights set on staying in Los Angeles. Drummond was interviewed by Lakers IG page @Lakersalldayeveryday, where he spoke candidly about his time with LeBron James and added a quip on his future with the Purple & Gold.

“Playing alongside LeBron James is a different ball game. It’s every kid’s dream to play with the best player in the world. … This is an incredible time in my career to play with LeBron James instead of against him … Hopefully, things go the right way, and we’ll try to run it back again.”

Drummond and the Lakers have a lot of negotiating to do if they hope to work out a deal that works for both sides. But it seems like the big man has no qualms with staying in town for another run.
