Los Angeles Lakers big man Andre Drummond hasn't exactly been tearing it up since arriving in LA a couple of months back. It's been a relatively slow adjustment period for the two-time All-Star, but the good news is that right now, Drummond believes that he's finally getting his rhythm.

With a tough test against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament looming, it appears that Drummond is peaking at just the right time:

“I finally felt normal for once,” Drummond said, via Christian Rivas of Silver Screen & Roll. “Just kind of finding a rhythm while I’m out there, doing what I do best: Rebounding the ball, kicking out for threes and just finishing in the paint when I get the ball … I’m still trying to get a rhythm.”

Drummond has seen a significant improvement in his level of play of late, with the 27-year-old recording four consecutive double-doubles to close out the regular season for the Lakers. This is a great sign for LA and their title hopes this season, as they will need Drummond to be at their very best come playoffs time.

Drummond also admitted that there were some early struggles when he first arrived and that he still has so much more to offer for the Lakers:

“I wouldn’t call it frustration,” Drummond added. “It’s just more putting pressure on myself because I know what I’m capable of, and everybody knows what I’m capable of, and I just haven’t quite shown it yet. And it’s been difficult to process that.”

If Drummond can bring back his All-Star form — or at least come close to it — for the playoffs then the Lakers are going to be really, really scary.
