LeBron James is now just four wins away from the fourth championship of his career, and his first for the Los Angeles Lakers. For teammate Anthony Davis, this title is going to be right up there with the best of them, should L.A. successfully defeat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.

According to Davis, LeBron's first title with the Lakers (potentially), will come second only to James' championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers:

“I think this championship is probably second behind Cleveland, being able to get this one for him,” Davis said, via Joe Vardon of The Athletic.

It's hard to argue against Anthony Davis' statement here. After all, one could say that by coming back from 3-1 down against a 73-win Golden State Warriors side, LeBron's title win with the Cavs in 2016 is one of the greatest championships of all time.

Should The King secure title number four with L.A. this season, though, there's no doubt that this will cement his legacy. James has done great things this season at 35 years old and in his 17th season in the league. He's been an absolute beast, and his performance in Game 5 against the Denver Nuggets in the West Finals was simply awe-inspiring.

He's gotten a lot of help along the way, though, and Davis deserves a ton of credit as well. This the first time the 27-year-old has stepped foot in the Finals, and while he's not exactly gunning for a fourth championship, he too has a lot riding on this series.
