Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis still needs more time to adjust on the floor after recovering from hi long injury layoff. He admitted that his current condition has affected his shooting from the field after he played in his second game back against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night, per Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation.

Despite his struggles, Davis still expressed positivity about how he's feeling. He is also optimistic that he will get to find his rhythm once again in their coming games.

After suffering a narrow 115-110 loss against the Mavericks on Thursday night, the Lakers had to face them again on Saturday. Los Angeles managed to build a comfortable lead at halftime, only to fold in the second half.

The Mavs performed well on the defensive end as they limited the Lakers to only 14 points in the fourth quarter to run away with a 108-93 victory. Davis was held to 17 points on a dismal 5-of-19 shooting from the field to go with three rebounds and three assists through 28 minutes of action. Ben McLemore added 20 points of his own in the Lakers' losing effort.

Even with a three-game losing streak, the Lakers continue to hold the fifth spot in the Western Conference with a 35-25 record. Though the struggles of Davis were certainly evident, he is still expected to find his rhythm and get back to his All-Star form in the near future.

Hopefully, the looming return of LeBron James will help Anthony Davis find his confidence as they try to lift the Lakers to a better record before heading to the upcoming playoffs.
