The Los Angeles Lakers have been able to assemble a roster filled with veterans who are not only known for their 3-point shooting, but also for their championship experience. Sure, they didn't get the one free agent they really wanted in Kawhi Leonard, but the team was able to get decent pieces in free agency around LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Now, the Lakers are primed to be one of the best teams in the NBA next season, and they are expected to contend for the championship. However, FS1's Colin Cowherd isn't really convinced that the Purple and Gold will be as good as most people think:

The Lakers can definitely do damage in the playoffs if they stay healthy and jell as a team. However, there are also a lot of question marks surrounding the squad. Will LeBron James and Anthony Davis be healthy for a full season? Will DeMarcus Cousins find his All-Star form again? Will Kyle Kuzma become the third-best player on the team? Will Frank Vogel be able to handle the big egos present on the roster?

A lot has to go right for this Lakers team in order for them to go deep into the playoffs. LeBron's teams usually come with a bit of drama, but he will be tasked to lead this group no matter how difficult the situation. He promised the city of Los Angeles he'd help the Lakers win a championship again.

Now he has to back up that talk.
