Los Angeles Lakers fans who were in attendance for the Kobe and Gianna Bryant memorial received a special program.

In the immediate aftermath of the helicopter crash, mourning fans created a Kobe memorial outside Staples Center. Every item that was left at the memorial came with a handwritten note. It’s evident the passing of Kobe is going to take a long time to get over.

Lakers players were very emotional against the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center during their tribute to Kobe, and this event has been similar. There hasn't been a dry eye in the house.

The Lakers retired Bryant’s No. 8 and 24 jerseys last year. The late basketball icon is set to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer as part of an incredible class later this year.

The Lakers currently have the best record in the West. However, nothing would make this season more special than to see LeBron James and Anthony Davis lead the Lakers to the Larry O’Brien Trophy come June. Both players were close with Bryant and his passing will undoubtedly motivate them to win it all this year.

A lot of players around the league have changed their jerseys numbers to honor Kobe Bryant. A number of other players are keeping their No. 8 or No. 24 in order to pay tribute to Kobe.
