After a historically dominant month of November, the Los Angeles Lakers' 10-game win streak was snapped. Falling at home to the Dallas Mavericks 114-100, both Lakers head coach Frank Vogel and star forward Anthony Davis reacted to the team's win streak being snapped.

“If we can play to our abilities, there is nobody that we can't beat and nowhere we cant get a W,” Vogel said.

Vogel is in his first year as the head coach of the Lakers. Previously, Vogel coached the Indiana Pacers from 2011-2016 and the Orlando Magic from 2016-2018

Rookie sensation Luka Doncic paced the Mavericks with 27 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds in 33 minutes. For LA, the duo of LeBron James and Davis combined for 52 points, 19 rebounds and 10 assists in the loss.

“It's one game. We're not going to put our heads down,” Davis said after the game.

The Lakers struggled shooting the ball from the outside hitting only 7 of their 27 shot attempts from three-point range while also committing 17 turnovers in the game.

Los Angeles defeated the Mavericks at the beginning of the month 119-110 in overtime so now, the season series is tied at one apiece.

With the loss, the Lakers are now tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for the best record in the NBA at 17-3. Next up, Los Angeles will take on the Nuggets Tuesday, December 3 in Denver.

Despite being 34 in age, James is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career and has meshed well with fellow star Anthony Davis whom the team acquired in a blockbuster trade this summer along with other new acquisitions such as Danny Green and Dwight Howard.
