NBA free agency doesn't officially start until July 1st, but the offseason is already off to a fiery start. According to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports, Kawhi Leonard has grown uncomfortable with the San Antonio Spurs and wants out.

Isaiah Thomas, who was just a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, likes the idea of an NBA shake-up and took to Twitter to discuss his feelings.

One of the preferred options for Leonard is with the Lakers, and a place that Thomas said he could see himself long term. via ESPN.

“I’m coming to an L.A. team that’s young, that already has a system. And I just want to help. Hopefully I’m here long term, you know, with me being a free agent this summer. But if I’m not, these last 25 games I’m going to play my heart out and show the Lakers why I should be here long term.”

The chances of Thomas returning to the Lakers is already slim, and if there is a trade with Leonard going to the Lakers, the chances likely disappear.

If Leonard does get traded before free agency begins, it'll be the first domino that likely sets up a crazy summer of movement.

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James and Oklahoma City Thunder star Paul George have both been linked to the LA team, and although cap space might be tight, there is a chance all three could team up together to make a super team.

This summer is just starting to heat up, but it seems like it could be one of the most entertaining in recent history.
