Los Angeles Lakers veteran forward Jared Dudley says Kyle Kuzma is the key for the Lakers to have a championship season in 2019-20.

It looks like Dudley is going to be in the ear of Kuzma all season, making sure the youngster is taking care of his body and playing the game the right way.

Jared Dudley is right: Everyone knows what to expect from LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The two superstars are going to play at an elite level almost every night.

Who is going to be the third-leading scorer on the Lakers, though? It could have been DeMarcus Cousins, but he's going to miss the entire season due to an ACL injury.

Kyle Kuzma figures to get the most volume of shots outside of LeBron and Davis, which means he has a good shot at being the third option on offense. Last season for the Lakers, Kuzma averaged 18.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 45.6 percent from the field, 30.3 percent from beyond the arc and 75.2 percent from the free-throw line. He will join LeBron, Danny Green, Davis and JaVale McGee in LA’s starting lineup.

The Lakers signed Dudley to stretch and space the floor with his 3-point shooting. Dudley is a career 39.2 percent shooter from deep. He will also be a great locker room presence.
