Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd can't wait to coach superstar power forward Anthony Davis next season.

Kidd, a Hall of Famer, is Frank Vogel's lead assistant on the Lakers. He says Davis “has the total package” and can do everything on a basketball court.

“When you talk about Anthony Davis, he can put the ball on the floor, he can pass, we all know he can shoot the 3, he can post up, defensively block shots, rebound. He has the total package,” Kidd said.

“That's why he's one of the best players in the world. And so for us to be able to have him with LeBron (James) and (Kyle) Kuzma and (Rajon) Rondo…it just makes it that much easier. This will be his first time playing with someone like LeBron.”

Davis, a six-time All-Star, has career averages of 23.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.4 blocks while shooting 51.7 percent from the field, 31.4 percent from beyond the arc and 79.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers have two of the most efficient scorers in NBA history. LeBron James has the second-best player efficiency rating of all-time at 27.6. Davis is third at 27.4. Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan has the best PER in NBA history at 27.9.

It's title or bust for the Lakers next season. With LeBron and AD leading the charge, the Purple and Gold have a great shot at winning the championship.
