Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant was a speaker in the team's annual “All-Access” event on Monday and had a lot of things to say about the current Lakers squad. Aside from calling out the bandwagon fans of the Golden State Warriors, the five-time NBA champion also stated his belief in the unquestionable potential of his former team.

Kobe Bryant singled out a couple of players on the current squad that he thinks will play a pivotal role in the team's road to glory. The future Hall of Famer shared his impression on veteran big man Tyson Chandler, whose seemingly ageless talent has amazed Kobe.

“Tyson's got to be like 80-years-old,” Bryant said with a laugh, via Dave McMenamin of ESPN. “This guy doesn't age a lick. He's like black Gandalf with the beard.”

At 36 years old and already on his 18th season in the league, Tyson Chandler is still making waves with his new team. And the more you think about Bryant's analogy, the more it makes sense. It's actually not hard to imagine the 7-foot-1 Lakers center playing a role in any one of the “Lord of The Rings” films.

Kobe Bryant also gave his two cents worth on point guard Rajon Rondo, who he has had the opportunity to battle with on multiple occasions during Rondo's stint with the Boston Celtics.

“He's moody,” said Bryant. “He's feisty. He's temperamental. He's a teammate's dream.”

Much like the majority of the Lakers faithful, Bryant also understands that success won't come overnight for the new-look Lakers. However, with such a talented and unique group of guys, the future is definitely looking bright for L.A.
