Former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant has decided to unleash his Mamba Mentality on fans of the Golden State Warriors.

While appearing at Lakers All-Access on Monday night, Bryant was his usual entertaining self in discussing various topics.

But as always, the five-time NBA champion delivered his best when it really mattered. Before exiting the event, he chose to provide Warriors fans with an opinion on how the NBA landscape would look in the near future.

From Kyle Goon of the Southern California News Group:

Kobe’s parting shot: “We’ll be champions again before you know it. And we’ll be laughing in the faces of all those Warriors fans who came out of nowhere.”

Would you really expect anything less from one of the most competitive players in the history of the NBA?

We all know that Kobe Bryant has never been one to hold back when it comes to expressing his opinions, and that's especially the case when talking about his beloved Lakers.

But with LeBron James now running the show in Los Angeles, it's possible that Kobe Bryant does indeed have a point about the Lakers reclaiming their spot at the top of the league, eventually taking over from the Warriors.

There are still some roster moves that will need to be made for LeBron and company to surpass the Warriors, but attracting players to Hollywood to play alongside the league's top player may not be all that difficult.

The Lakers are off to a 14-9 start in James' first season with the team, and they'll try to continue their winning ways on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs.
