Philadelphia will always be home for Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

So it's no surprise that Bryant loves the Philadelphia Eagles.

He loves them so much that he recently visited the team and gave them a chat. Afterwards he donned an Eagles jersey and was filmed doing so, per John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Bryant went to high school at Lower Marion High School, which is located in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. Ardmore is just about 11 miles away from Philadelphia's city center.

That high school, and that city, is part of Bryant's identity. It's where the hype started for him, leading him to eschew college and jump right into the NBA and Lakers lore.

The city is so important to Bryant that the Philadelphia 76ers gave him a framed jersey from his school during his last season in the NBA.

Now that Bryant is retired from basketball, it looks as though he's return the favor to the city.

There isn't a ton of evidence that Bryant is a fan of football. Soccer, absolutely. But not football. However, Clark's tweet suggests otherwise.

But whether or not Bryant cares about the sport of football, he clearly cares about the city of Philadelphia. It kind of looks like Bryant had some trouble putting the jersey on, but he managed just fine.

And if you peep the number on the jersey, it's 8! Doesn't that contradict what number he'd rather see retired at Staples Center? Hmm…
