Kyle Kuzma is already a fan favorite to Los Angeles Lakers fans and he no doubt raised his popularity on Friday.

Big Clippers fan Marcellus Wiley took to Twitter on Friday night to try to recruit Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart to switch locker rooms and join the Los Angeles Clippers.

Kuzma, however, wasn't having any of it. He told Wiley to “Tamper This!! I will not be a clipper.” Even if he wanted to join the Clippers though, the Lakers would have to trade him. Kuzma still has at least one year left on his contract with the Lakers.

After next season the team has a two-year option that they can pick up, and if he continues to play the way he has the option will be an absolute steal for the Lakers.

If the Lakers do pick up his option for the 2020-21 season, which they probably will, they'll only be paying him a little over $3.5 million. With the type of production, he has had this year, that is a steal and will really help open up some cap space for other players like LeBron James and Paul George.

After being taken with the 27th pick by the Brooklyn Nets and then traded on draft night last year, Kuzma had quite the rookie season.

He played in 77 games this year averaging 16.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He along with Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram look like a couple of guys the Lakers can build around for years to come.
