Kyle Kuzma is a fan favorite already for the Los Angeles Lakers, and if he is able to pull off his latest idea he might become an all-timer as a rookie.

He took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the Lakers playing in their old home, The Forum.

The Forum was built in Inglewood California in 1967 under the then owner of the Lakers, Jack Kent Cooke. The Lakers enjoyed some of their glory years in The Forum before moving to the Staples Center in 2000.

Now The Forum is run by the same owners that own Madison Square Garden, and actually has no connection to the Lakers. The Lakers did play a preseason game back in 2009 at The Forum, but that was before it was sold.

Now the Forum holds mostly concerts and will help host the Summer Olympics when they come to Los Angeles in 2028.

For Kuzma he does have one big thing working for him if he wants this to actually become a reality: Magic Johnson. He played his entire Lakers career at The Forum and he might have some interest in getting the team back to at least one game for the Lakers.

The one thing standing in their way through is the new ownership group. When they did the upgrades on The Forum they were with the idea of concerts in mind and not basketball games.

Getting them to go along with the idea might be a stretch, but even if it doesn't pan out Kuzma should at least get some credit for trying to bring the past back.
