There is a video of the incident that is currently making its rounds all over the internet and on virtually all news outlets, which you've likely already seen it at this point. James has also been able to view the clip, and in his mind, Blake was unlawfully shot.
Lakers’ LeBron James on Jacob Blake shooting: “If you’re sitting there telling me there was no way to subdue or detain him before the firing of guns, then you’re lying to not only me, you’re lying to every Black person in the community. We see it over and over and over. pic.twitter.com/9DHZZqcr6K

Another viral video that has recently surfaced is that of a young Black kid hiding from the cops. James was asked to comment on the same, and he expressed how he knows exactly what that child is going through.
Lakers’ LeBron James on a video of kid shooting hoops at home hiding from police: “That s***’s sad. I know what he’s going through. When I lived in the projects, if we saw a cop, we hid behind the brick wall. When the lights went on, we ran, even if we didn’t do anything wrong.” pic.twitter.com/aR8cEZ1m3M

This most recent incident is yet another major blow against the Black community and the fight against systemic racism. This latest development follows the deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, which have sparked nationwide protests and the emergence of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Thankfully, reports state that Blake is currently in stable condition in an Intensive Care Unit. Prayers up.
LeBron James delivered his message on Sunday, following LA's 135-115 blowout victory against the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 4 of their first-round matchup. The Lakers are now 3-1 up in the series, and they could close out the series in Game 5 on Wednesday.
