Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has had plenty of time to let out his inner-social media, comedic takes since the offseason began. This time, his jokes were aimed at teammate Talen Horton-Tucker, who's celebrating his birthday on Wednesday.

King James took to Instagram and posted a picture of the two while taking a humorous jab at Horton-Tucker's age:

Horton-Tucker turned 20 years old on Wednesday, which is still one year below the legal drinking age. The second-year guard will probably continue getting ragged on by his teammates on Wednesday given the age gap between most of them.

Lakers youngster Horton-Tucker didn't see much playing time last season, but that could change during the 2020-21 campaign. The Iowa State product averaged 5.7 points while shooting 46 percent from the field. His time on the floor was short-lived with only six games as a sample size, however.

While the jokes can be made of Horton-Tucker's age, the bigger picture can be made of James' tenure in the league. James is 15 years Horton-Tucker's senior, but still commands the league's attention with dominating performances. As it stands, the high-motor that's driven him to multiple accolades during his career doesn't show signs of stopping as he enters his 18th season.

The Los Angeles Lakers once again didn't disappoint this offseason, as they made drastic improvements to their championship roster. The front office was able to land a few key free agents while shedding some unneeded names of their books. They remain atop the league and are heavy favorites to repeat for a championship going into next season.
