During this past Sunday's showing of “The Last Dance,” LeBron James tweeted about his admiration for Madison Square Garden. As it turns out, even the Staples Center's official Twitter account could not help but react to LeBron's tweet, which prompted the Los Angeles Lakers superstar to respond himself.

First, here is LeBron's first tweet that set off this interaction:

The Staples Center's Twitter account reacted with a crying meme, and LeBron had to appease his own home court:

It's all in good fun, though, and we're certain that nobody actually got hurt or offended by LeBron's initial tweet. After all, he was just sharing his admiration for Madison Square Garden — the Mecca of sports — and anyone who has ever been in or experienced an event at The Garden would probably agree with James here. In truth, there's nothing more to the three-time NBA champion's tweet than that.

Of course, Staples Center isn't too bad itself. The arena draws flocks of Hollywood celebrities to games, which is just one of its many draws. James himself appears to love the spotlight, and perhaps this is also one of the reasons behind his decision to join the Lakers in 2018.

For the Lakers faithful, they are counting down the days to when LeBron will be able to bring the glory back to Staples Center. For them, it's only a matter of when, and not if.
