Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is in full support of Isaiah Thomas, who is attempting an NBA comeback after being in and out of the league for the past four years.
Thomas has struggled to find a consistent home since being traded by the Boston Celtics to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017. Since then, he has played for the Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Washington Wizards, and New Orleans Pelicans—albeit sparingly.
On Twitter, IT expressed his thoughts on his journey to becoming healthy and NBA-ready once again, noting how he never gave up on his love for basketball and kept on grinding. He also highlighted how several people doubted if he can play again in the pros before announcing that he's “back.” To recall, Thomas recently showed the world that he can still score at an elite level after banking 65 and 81 points in two straight Pro-Am games.
I wasn’t showing y’all a snippet of me being emotional so y’all can feel sorry 4 me. Hell no!!! My life is GREAT!! I was showing y’all that to see what it feels like to give everything you have to something you love and to see it slowly coming back where it’s suppose to be TMC 🏁

After seeing Isaiah Thomas' tweets, LeBron James made sure to show some love to his former teammate. IT also responded to the Lakers forward and emphasized he's not stopping in his NBA return bid.

For what it's worth, the Lakers are reportedly weighing on possibly signing Thomas into one of their roster spots. While nothing is assured yet, the Purple and Gold are said to be assessing if he's the best fit to supplement their backcourt and add wing depth behind their slew of veteran players.
It remains to be seen where IT will end up with, but he is certainly proving he deserves another shot at the NBA.
