There is no doubt that Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James will go down in history as one of the best to have ever played the game.

However, as it turns out, the three-time NBA champ actually had other things in mind growing up:

James has involved himself — in some form or manner — in a number of hip-hop albums to date, so it comes as no surprise that he has been an avid fan of rap music ever since he was a child. LeBron has also starred in several movies and just filmed “Space Jam 2” this past summer, so he has also been able to live out his dream of becoming an actor.

Despite his diverse talents, though, it is without question that the four-time league MVP has rightfully taken the path that he was always destined to take. At this point, it's hard to imagine the sport of basketball without LeBron James, and his contributions to the game — both on and off the court — are countless.

Right now, LeBron James is in the midst of one of his best seasons of his career, leading the Lakers to a league-best record through the first quarter of the new campaign. Let's not forget that he is now at the ripe age of 34. It's just amazing how LeBron is still able to do what he does day in and day out despite all that he has been through in his illustrious career thus far. This is why he's going to go down as one of the greatest of all time.
