Five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant has become a motivating force for many of the top players in the NBA today. A lot of the stars that dominate the game in this era has reached out and spoken to Bryant for advice from Kyrie Irving to Isaiah Thomas to Gordon Hayward to Draymond Green and most recently, Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers.

With Bryant proving to be extremely helpful for these stars of the present and future, the Lakers brass has urged their players to pick the brain of the future Hall of Famer when given the opportunity. Although Kuzma has already taken the opportunity, fellow rookie Lonzo Ball has not. However, that doesn't mean he won't in the near future, according to Serena Winters of Lakers Nation.

Before the Ball's rookie season got underway in October, the controversial father of the promising young point guard, LaVar Ball, made a comment that didn't exactly sit well with Lakers fans. LaVar believes Lonzo doesn't need to talk to Kobe in order to improve his game, but his comment above suggests he's open to the prospect.

With so many players having success after speaking with Kobe, it obviously can't hurt Ball as he tries to take his game to the next level. Even Kuzma saw a boost in production after he simply had a dinner with the former Lakers superstar.

The real question moving forward is whether Lonzo will go out of his way to make it happen. Only time will tell if the highly-touted rookie will pick up the phone to reach out to Bryant and if he does what impact it may have on his career.
