Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Reggie Bullock says he “would love to be back” with the organization next season.

Bullock will become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The Lakers acquired the guard from the Detroit Pistons at the trade deadline this year.

“I would love to be back here with the Lakers,” Bullock said, via Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll. “I was a fan of this organization pretty much my whole life and the connection that me and Bron [LeBron James] is building off handoffs and him continuing to find me spacing the floor, it's continuing to build.

“We'll see how it plays out during the summer.”

In 10 games with the Lakers, Reggie Bullock is averaging 8.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists. The 27-year-old is shooting 40.8 percent from the field, 35.4 percent from beyond the arc and 66.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Los Angeles traded for Bullock because they needed more shooting alongside LeBron James. Bullock has played decent with the Lakers, but his addition wasn't enough to help the Purple and Gold climb up the Western Conference standings.

The Lakers are likely going to miss the playoffs this season. Bullock, however, will command a lot of interest on the open market in the summer.
