Los Angeles Lakers' Talen Horton-Tucker is making the Staples Center his own personal playground. On Sunday, the 20-year old made his second preseason start against the Los Angeles Clippers and went absolutely bonkers to torch a fully healthy Clippers squad. Horton-Tucker was firing on all cylinders for a second straight game as he spearheads the attack of the defending champions.
With THT playing like this for the Lakers, who needs LeBron James or Anthony Davis?
Here's Twitter doing what Twitter does:

Perk's got it right. Horton-Tucker was the Lakers' best scorer in their first preseason game against the Clippers on Saturday after the Chicago native dropped 19 points to help the defending champions secure the 87-81 win over their city rivals. THT was back it again on Sunday and balled out against Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Patrick Beverley. After three quarters of play, Horton-Tucker exploded for 31 points on 10/15 shooting and added seven rebounds, three assists and three steals all in 29 minutes of action. Thanks to the sophomore's output, the Lakers are now up huge against the Clippers with a quarter to go and is looking to snag their second straight preseason W.
The young shooting guard showed glimpses of his play last year after he suited up for a handful of games for LA last season and even started one. Laker fans got a closer look on Horton-Tucker in the playoffs when he played for games 4 and 5 against the Houston Rockets inside the bubble and averaged seven points per game in just eight minutes of play.
With numbers like Sunday night's, look for Horton-Tucker to be a regular in this year's Lakers rotation.
