Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis bared his inspiration for draining the buzzer-beating 3-pointer over the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 on Sunday.

The Brow claimed post-match that he has no intentions of letting his team lose while wearing their jersey tribute to the late Kobe Bryant.

The Lakers began wearing their Black Mamba-inspired alternate jerseys in the first round against the Portland Trail Blazers. It seems the slick dark uniforms have truly given the Purple and Gold a great boost, as they have remained undefeated in the 2020 playoffs while wearing those threads.

That pristine record was in jeopardy in Game 2, as the Nuggets took control of the fourth quarter led by the brilliance of Nikola Jokic.

Anthony Davis, however, channeled his inner Kobe Bryant and played the role of savior with a miraculous off-balanced 3-pointer to give LA a 105-103 victory.

Kobe may no longer be with us, but his spirit lives on each time the current Lakers ensemble dons those uniforms.
