The Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks' Friday night matchup is bannered by LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but Brandon Ingram is not to be outdone.

Near the end of the first quarter, Ingram spun around Nikola Mirotic en route to the basket. He was met with weak resistance from Ersan Ilyasova, but Ingram, being too skilled, did not have any problem with the challenge.

The former second overall pick proceeded to punish the rim, and the Bucks' lackadaisical defense, with a crushing reverse slam.

Ingram has been on a roll lately, displaying to everyone the flashes that convinced the Lakers to select him behind Ben Simmons in the draft. Over the last four games prior to Friday, the former Duke Blue Devil held averages of 27.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists on 56 percent shooting from the field and 54 percent from beyond the arc.

The Lakers need every help they can get as they make a final push for a playoff ticket.

From owning the fourth seed, Los Angeles has plummeted as LeBron James spent several games due to a groin injury. A lot was expected out of Ingram during that span, but he proved to be underwhelming.

Fortunately for the Lakers, Ingram has seemed to have found his groove coupled with confidence and assertiveness that used to be nonexistent.
