The Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James may be at the bottom of drawing offensive fouls (probably the rare time he's been on the bottom of anything) but on their Wednesday night matchup against the visiting Denver Nuggets, the King managed to pick up a charge… err, charger.

After what appears to be a live play, James came across a cable charger left on the floor and incredulously protested to its presence before tossing it away.

It certainly is a first and his reaction was warranted considering that a charger is the last thing you're bound to see scattered on the arena floor. If someone could have stepped on it, we're looking at a freak injury with serious repercussions.

That said, the minor distraction proved to be of no problem to the 34-year-old as he never lost sight of his primary goal for the night and that's surpassing the GOAT Michael Jordan for solo 4th on the NBA's All-Time Scoring List. The four-time Most Valuable Player only needed to hurdle 12 points to jump over MJ which he easily did via a three-point-play just halfway through the second quarter.

With that personal accolade out of the way, James now moves on to a goal that's just as equally important – snapping their three-game losing skid and keeping their playoff hopes alive amid a spate of injuries to key players. It's easier said than done against the Nuggets, however, but the Purple and Gold hopes to go down fighting nonetheless.
