LeBron James and Anthony Davis highlight NBPA’s Backbone Award winners, which were announced this week by way of various social media posts.

The Backbone Award is intended to honor a player on each NBA team that represents the heart and soul of their respective team. In turn, that means each franchise in the league has someone who won The Backbone Award.

The award is part of several NBPA awards that are exclusively voted on by players, instead of awards like MVP that are decided by the media.
