Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made a very interesting NBA comparison for the rap duo of Drake and Rick Ross. After Lakers teammate Kyle Kuzma likened the tandem to Chicago Bulls legends Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, The King rebutted by claiming they're more in the mold of Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry.

The reason is simple:

It's easy to see where James is coming from on this one. He personally experienced what it's like going up against Durant and Curry. He encountered the KD-Steph-led Golden State Warriors in back-to-back NBA Finals in 2017 and 2018. As superhuman as LeBron James is, even The King could not stop the tandem of Curry and Durant as he only managed to take one game against them in those two Finals.

So, this is probably not a knock on Jordan and Pippen. Nevertheless, MJ may just very well take this personally.

James and Kuzma's tweets came after Drake struck in the middle of the night on Friday, dropping his EP ā€œScary Hours 2.ā€ This included a track featuring Rick Ross entitled ā€œLemon Pepper Freestyle.ā€ Judging by their reactions, it's safe to say the two Lakers forwards were absolutely blown away by the 6-minute masterpiece from the two rappers.Ā James even added that Drake's music just hits different.

James is obviously a huge fan of Champagne Papi, as well as Da Boss. He has posted several clips of himself jamming to their songs on his Instagram stories, and he's loving these new tracks.
