Facebook is currently going all out in coming up with original content for their online video streaming service. Now, the largest social media platform in the world is counting on a family that arguably has the largest ego in the sporting world to be featured in one of its exclusives that could hopefully contend with the critically-acclaimed shows being produced by the likes of Netflix and Amazon.

Deadline's Denise Petski got a tip that Facebook had greenlit two new projects, with one of them being a documentary series centered around the Ball family. Petski noted that the series will focus on the three Ball brothers of basketball: LaMelo, LiAngelo, and the second overall pick in this year's NBA Draft, Lonzo. There's no official word yet as for how long and how many episodes the series will run for.

Of course, the show wouldn't be that big of a draw if not for the family's patriarch, LaVar Ball. As such, viewers shouldn't be surprised if the series involved a lot of LaVar and less of his three sons considering his polarizing yet magnetic on-screen personality.

Time to get hyped for some amazing hoops, sibling camaraderie, and close-up shots of tainted teeth.
