Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon is known for his acrobatic dunks. He wowed many fans and players in the 2015 and 2016 Slam Dunk contests.

There's no denying that his athleticism is jaw-dropping and can lead to several highlight material plays.

Against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, Gordon once again displayed what he is capable of. In the first quarter of the game, the 6-foot-9 forward found an opening and drove toward the basket. What followed was simply an amazing play because Gordon was able to hang in the air while sinking a reverse layup.

It was labeled as “pure magic” by Def Pen Hoops.  And yes, it indeed was.

The layup cut the Nuggets' lead to four and awakened the hometown crowd at the Amway Center.

Gordon is now in his fifth year with the Magic, and his numbers have improved steadily through the years since he came to the league in 2014.

Right now, he's one of the Magic's pivotal players, along with Nikola Vucevic and Evan Fournier. This season he is averaging 16.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and one steal per game.

At the time of this writing, the Magic are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference with a 12-12 record and is 7.5 games behind the Eastern Conference leading Toronto Raptors.
