Now that Mark Ingram is about to enter free agency, it's as good of a time as any for the Philadelphia Eagles to seriously consider targeting him.

According to FanSided, Ingram has been eyed by the Eagles for a quick minute, especially since he's caught the eye of several fans over the years.

“Though initial signs point to Ingram wanting to remain in New Orleans, money talks, and if Philly can offer a better deal, the Hackensack, New Jersey native may want to cash out and be justly compensated for his production. With Ingram in place, Mr. Roseman could target whichever running back he deems has the highest ceiling in the 2019 NFL Draft and won’t be forced to throw them in the fire before they are ready. Will Ingram continue to average 4.5 yards a season when he’s 30, 31, or 32? Probably not, but he could still provide value in a LeGarrette Blount-esque role, a facet of the Eagles’ offense that was sorely missed in 2018.”

Ingram has had a contentious relationship with the Eagles for a while, though, especially since not even the combination of Ingram and Alvin Kamara was enough to secure a Saints win over the Eagles last season.

Still, Ingram is a businessman, and even he has to know that it's essential to go where the money is. Should the Eagles be able to come up with the proper amount to justify his production, it would make perfect sense for him to pack up and go east for what may turn out to be his last chance to do so.
