Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made it known that he wasn't surprised by Luka Doncic's 40-point triple-double for the Dallas Mavericks against the San Antonio Spurs.

LeBron quickly took it to Instagram to react to Luka's big performance, posting a photo of him and Luka on his IG stories and captioning it with “He’s one BAD MOFO!!!!! I tried to tell y’all.”

Luka Doncic scored 42 points and tallied 11 rebounds and 12 assists to propel the Mavs to a 117-110 victory over the Spurs. He was hot right from the start, putting up 17 points, four rebounds and four dimes in the first quarter alone on his way to his career night.

Doncic joined LeBron as the only under-21 player to record a 40-point triple-double. He is also the second-youngest player to record such feat.

For what it's worth, LeBron is referencing to his comments earlier this month about Luka. After their Nov. 1 meeting that saw them bag triple-doubles each, the King called Luka a “bad motherf******.”

In hindsight, that's certainly a warning from LeBron about the rising superstar.

LeBron James and Luka Doncic are set for another showdown on December 1, with the Mavs visiting the Lakers at Staples Center. Hopefully, their second round will be another one for the record books!
