Luka Doncic has been under fire as of late after the Dallas Mavericks superstar has received criticism about his game and all the in-game complaining he's been displaying. The former Rookie of the Year has been known to be on the ear of the officials during their games and seems to be distraught every time his team is on the receiving end of a bad call.

Ahead of their game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, the former third-overall pick opened up with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith and didn't shy away from the issue.

“I think some of it is true. Especially this year,” Luka Doncic responded to Smith's question regarding his in-game whining and body language. “But I think the last couple of games I've been getting better and better. I got to stop this, I knot it's not right. But I think more than whining, I think it's wanting to win. We were in a bad spot, like I said, six losses in a row. t makes you do things you don't want to do. I know I did a lot of things wrong and I got to learn from this. I'm still young and I can learn from this.”

Doncic, 21, let his game do the talking on Wednesday night as he led the Mavs to win their third win in a row against Trae Young and the Hawks.

The All-Star put on a show and grabbed his seventh triple-double of the season with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. He now leads the league in triple-doubles this season with a total of seven.
